What our clients say about Alice Brett
About Alice
I am a Senior Associate Solicitor and Family Mediator at Amphlett Lissimore in the family law department. I specialise in all areas of private family disputes and have extensive experience advising in complex financial remedy cases including non-matrimonial property and inherited wealth, offshore trusts, assets held in companies, and foreign jurisdictions. I also advise in private children disputes, pre/post-nuptial agreements, and separation agreements for unmarried couples.
I achieved the Law Society Family Law Accreditation in 2021, which is a recognised high quality standard for family law practitioners and covers all aspects of family law work.
My approach is robust yet sensitive and my keen eye for detail and pragmatic approach consistently secures the best outcomes for my clients. I am a Resolution-qualified mediator, passionate about helping my clients resolve their differences quickly and without needless conflict or expense, so that they can move forward amicably.
Within my family mediation practice, I enjoy working constructively with clients to find bespoke solutions tailored to their families’ needs.
Whilst based primarily at our Crystal Palace and Battersea Power Station offices, I often meet with clients at our London Bridge and Victoria offices as well. I offer a fixed-fee first meeting either in person, over the phone, or video call. I can help you to know where you stand legally, what the next steps might be, and the likely costs involved. At this point, you can choose to instruct me should you decide to go ahead.
Since 2021, I have been listed as a Key Lawyer every year in the Legal 500 for private family law matters in London.
- “…really helpful, tells me exactly what is going on, and helps me in the best way she can. She is truthful, which is important as sometimes the truth isn’t what I want to hear but what I need to know.” (The Legal 500, 2021)
- “…Efficient, always there for the client and thoroughly prepared…” – The Legal 500 (2022)
