Amphlett Lissimore is a long-standing and well-established high street law firm with its roots firmly in South London. The firm has grown over recent years and has 10 offices in localities that include Bromley, Battersea and London Bridge. We are pleased to announce an excellent opportunity for an energetic Litigation Solicitor based at our Crystal Palace head office.
The Role
We are searching for an ambitious, highly motivated and commercially-minded solicitor to play a major part in the expansion of our civil litigation work. This is a full-time post based at our Crystal Palace office, with possibilities for flexible working.
To be the ideal candidate for this position, you will have a broad knowledge and experience of property-related litigation and the typical mix of contentious high street work – contract disputes, unfair dismissal and redundancy, problems between neighbours, challenges to wills, and so on. We cannot offer you immigration or personal injury work, but there will be opportunities to engage with our specialist leasehold enfranchisement team in their tribunal cases.
Much of our work comes from longstanding and loyal clients – individuals, small businesses, property developers great and small – and we are seeking someone who will attract a wider clientele while continuing to foster existing relationships.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
We are open minded about the level of PQE. It is just as important for you to be the right person to fit into the team. But you will need at least two years’ experience working full time in civil litigation, managing your own caseload, with support when you need it but without constant supervision. Of course you will have outstanding communication skills, a client-focused approach, and an aptitude to bring on our trainees working in the team.
Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Flexible working options; including hybrid working
- Friendly and supportive environment
