About Lynsey

I am a lawyer at Amphlett Lissimore where I work in the child care team alongside Sue Pryse-Davies. I specialise in helping parents, grandparents and other family members where social services have become involved with the family. I cover public law outline (known as PLOs or pre-proceedings) matters or when care proceedings have been initiated by the Local Authority.

As a firm, we are contracted by the Legal Aid Agency and in almost all care proceedings (where social services are involved), legal aid is free and available for children and parents. I work from both our Mitcham and Crystal Palace offices, so regularly deal with local authorities such as; London Borough of Merton, Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and Surrey County Council.

I can help you by talking you through the process, advising you on your rights and what to do next, and building the strongest possible case for you and your family. I’m a member of Resolution, which means that I follow their code of practice and will always listen to and treat everyone with respect and without judgment. Every case is different, and I’m here to support and help you through this difficult, confusing, and challenging time.
