What our clients say about Carole Hack
About Carole
My specialism is in private law children cases such as child arrangements, parental responsibility agreements, and appointing a guardian. I regularly act in relation to applications to Court for specific issue orders concerning a child (e.g. which school a child should attend) and prohibited steps orders (e.g. preventing the removal of a child from their carer, their home or the country), and have represented parents in child abduction cases, guiding them through what can be quite a complex court process.
I have extensive experience in cases involving domestic abuse and violence not only in relation to securing protection for victims but also representing people who have been accused of domestic abuse. These issues often impact on the parent’s ability to spend time with their children – in these situations, I can assist with negotiating child arrangements and can represent parents/grandparents in Court proceedings if necessary.
I can assist with no-fault divorce applications, either advising on how to proceed with the application themselves during a fixed fee advice session or acting for a spouse, and preparing all the paperwork necessary to achieve a final divorce order.
I have advised and assisted clients this area of law over 35 years. I am a member of Resolution and always strive to resolve matters as amicably as possible using non-confrontational methods. When clients approach me to represent them, their situation is often a distressing and emotional one. My main objective is to always support and guide my clients to a better position and thereby a better outcome for them and their children.
