What our clients say about Estella Newbold-Brown
About Estella
I am a partner at Amphlett Lissimore and head of the family law department, and specialise in all areas of private family law. This includes, but is not limited to, divorce – including same sex marriages/civil partnership dissolutions, annulments, advising on religious divorces, and the financial aspects of the same. I frequently draft pre and post-nuptial agreements with significant assets. In addition, I can advise in respect of children matters, whether this relates to contact disputes, financial claims for children, abduction or relocation cases.
I am able to act expeditiously if there is a need to apply to the court to freeze assets or obtain protection from domestic violence. Many of my cases involve an international element, businesses, issues of a complex nature, and are high net worth.
Whilst based primarily in our London Bridge and Crystal Palace offices, I frequently meet with clients at our Bromley and Richmond offices as well. I am an approachable and friendly lawyer who is resolution focused. I am known as someone who is extremely empathetic towards each client’s individual needs and circumstances and has a strong technical ability. My approach is to always try and reach a swift resolution, in the most cost-efficient manner for my clients.
I am a Resolution Accredited Family Law Specialist in cohabitation law, financial claims for children (Schedule 1), and medium-high net worth divorce cases. I pride myself in being client focused; providing a bespoke service tailored to meet my client’s needs. I have acted for clients who have had incomes over £1.5m, assets up to £20m, and pensions over £2m.
I frequently act for high profile clients in the entertainment industry.
I offer a fixed-fee first meeting either in person, over the phone, or video call. I can help you to understand where you stand legally, what the next steps might be, and the likely costs involved. At this point, you can choose to instruct me should you decide to go ahead.
In my spare time, I enjoy music festivals, live music, travelling around the UK in my VW Campervan, and being kept busy by my twins.
